The last 12 months have seen the rise of Norwegian Viktor Hovland.
The 24-year-old rose to 7th in the world thanks to victories at the World Wide Technology Championship in Mayakoba on the PGA Tour and the BMW International Open on the European Tour. He closed 2021 with a landslide victory at the Hero World Challenge at Tiger Woods in the Bahamas.
Let’s take a look at the gear that helped guide him to success.
Hovland prefers Ping drivers but can sometimes be spotted using a TaylorMade SIM fairway wood. The rest of his clubs are normally Pings, but he often opts for a Titleist U505 Utility iron and a Titleist Vokey WedgeWorks 60 degree.
